Shrimp Newburg Crock Pot
This straightforward recipe uses a crock pot to create a creamy Shrimp Newburg. A combination of cream of shrimp soup, evaporated milk, cooked shrimp, and sliced mushrooms simmers slowly. Ingredients
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of shrimp soup
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups shrimp, cooked and diced
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained and sliced
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
Method
- Combine all listed ingredients in the crock pot, but leave out the beaten egg yolks.
- Put the lid on and set the cooker to LOW for 4 to 5 hours.
- Mix the beaten egg yolks into the pot and continue to cook for one more hour.
- Spoon the finished Newburg over cooked rice to serve.
