Seasoned Beansprouts

Ingredients

  • 225g beansprouts (labelled ‘ready to eat)
  • 1/2 spring onion green part only, thinly sliced on the diagonal
  • 1 garlic clove grated
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

Method

  1. Boil water in a pan, then add the beansprouts and cook them for 10-15 secs. Drain them, rinse under cold water until cool, and drain once more. Gently press out any remaining water.
  2. Combine the sliced spring onion, grated garlic, toasted sesame seeds, and sesame oil in a medium bowl. Add the prepared beansprouts, season with salt, and toss gently to combine.
