Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits
These homemade biscuits are a delightful treat for dogs. Combining pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and whole wheat flour, they are simple to prepare and fun for children to help shape. Ingredients
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, canned
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional) or 1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)
- 3 tablespoons dry milk
Method
- Set your oven to heat to 325 degrees.
- Use a mixer to combine the eggs, pumpkin puree, and peanut butter, then mix in the dry milk, salt, quick-cooking oats, and whole wheat flour.
- Should the dough prove too firm, incorporate a few teaspoons of water, though it ought to remain stiff.
