Honey Mustard Grilled Salmon or Tuna Steaks
This recipe offers a delicious way to prepare salmon or tuna steaks on the grill. The fish is coated in a simple marinade made from honey Dijon mustard, soy sauce, vinegar, and olive oil, then left to marinate for up to 2 hours. Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons honey dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce (light or lower-sodium soy sauce is OK)
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 -3 salmon or 2 -3 tuna steaks (1-11/2 lbs)
Method
- Place the honey mustard, soy sauce, vinegar and oil into a large resealable plastic bag and mix them together.
- Put the salmon steaks into the bag, seal it, and turn it over to ensure all the fish is covered with the marinade.
- Let the bag sit in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours, remembering to turn it over now and then.
- Cook the fish on a hot grill for 5-7 min.
