Fried Chicken Livers

Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken liver
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup self rising flour

Method
- Soak the chicken livers in the buttermilk for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the livers to a colander to drain off the buttermilk.
- Coat each liver thoroughly in the self rising flour.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer until it reaches 350 degrees.
- Cook the livers in the hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes until they turn brown.
- Place the fried livers on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.
