Crock Pot Chutney
This slow cooker chutney is a convenient way to create a sweet and spiced preserve. Onions are first softened in a pan before being combined with fresh or frozen peaches, golden raisins, brown sugar, and a blend of warming spices in the crock pot. A simple slurry of flour and cider vinegar is whisked together and stirred in. The mixture then cooks gently on a low heat for 5 hours, allowing the flavours to meld perfectly. The result is a versatile chutney ideal for serving with cheeses or cold meats.
