Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 cups crushed tortilla chips
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese
Method
- Preheat your oven to 175C.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, stirring it as it cooks.
- Continue cooking until the beef is browned and has a crumbly texture.
- Drain off any extra fat, then mix in the salsa, chopped onion, mayonnaise, chili powder, and ground cumin.
- Take the skillet off the heat source.
- In your baking dish, create a layer of crushed chips, followed by a layer of the beef mixture, another layer of chips, and finally a layer of the combined cheeses.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
