1-Minute Breakfast Sandwich
This speedy breakfast sandwich is ready in just a few minutes. A simple egg mixture is cooked in the microwave while you toast an English muffin. Assemble with cheese and any optional extras you like, such as bacon, tomato, or avocado, for a satisfying morning meal.
Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon milk

- 1 English muffin
- 1 slice cheese
- 1 strip bacon (optional)

- red pepper flakes (optional)
Method
- Combine the egg, milk, a pinch of salt, and a few grinds of pepper in a bowl and whisk them together.
- Coat a 4-oz. ramekin with cooking spray, then pour the egg mixture into it. Microwave on high until cooked, which should take about 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Cut the English muffin in half and toast both pieces. Place the cooked egg on one muffin half and add a slice of cheese on top.
- Include any other ingredients you wish to use. Finish by placing the remaining muffin half on top. It is now ready to serve.
