Yogurtlu Meyve Suyu (Turkish Fruit Smoothie)
This Yogurtlu Meyve Suyu is a traditional Turkish fruit smoothie blending seasonal fruits with yogurt and honey. Ingredients
- 2 peaches, peeled, pitted, cut in chunks
- 2 black plums, peeled, pitted, cut in chunks
- 10 pitted cherries
- 1 small banana, peeled, sliced
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons turkish plain yogurt (if you like, use your favourite flavoured yogurt)
- 1 cup skim milk
Method
- Place all the prepared fruit into a food processor along with the honey and lemon juice, then puree until smooth.
- Pour in the yogurt and milk, then process the mixture again for approximately 40-45 seconds.
- Serve the smoothie immediately by pouring it into glasses filled with ice cubes.
