Watermelon Gin Spritzer
This British cocktail is a wonderfully refreshing choice for a summer evening. It combines the sweet flavour of watermelon with the botanical notes of gin and the crisp fizz of tonic water. Ingredients
- 2large limes
- 100g watermelon
- 2 tbsp gin
- tonic water
Method
- 1. Slice the 2 large limes into 16 pieces in total. 2. Into each of the 8 glasses, squeeze the juice from 2 pieces of lime and then place the squeezed flesh inside. 3. Chop the 100g of watermelon and distribute it evenly among the glasses, then add ice cubes to each. 4. Pour 2 tbsp of gin into every glass and finish by topping them all up with chilled tonic water.
