Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 14 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups Quaker® Oats (Quick or Old Fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 cup raisins

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Using an electric mixer, cream the softened butter with the brown and granulated sugars in a large bowl.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Incorporate the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt which have been combined beforehand.
  5. Stir the uncooked oats and the raisins into the cookie dough until evenly distributed.
  6. Place rounded tablespoonfuls of the dough onto baking sheets that do not require greasing.
  7. Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until they turn a light golden brown colour.
