Tuna Alfredo with Penne Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 cup penne pasta
  • 24 ounces tuna, drained
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Cook the penne pasta in the boiling water for about 11 minutes, stirring now and then, until it is al dente. Drain the pasta and place it back into the pot.
  2. Put the drained tuna into a skillet set over low heat. Sprinkle it with onion powder and a pinch of salt. Cook the tuna for about 5 minutes until it begins to brown lightly. Mix the cooked tuna into the pot with the pasta. Pour in the jar of Alfredo sauce and stir everything together. Finish by sprinkling the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
