Swiss Steak for Two
This comforting one-dish meal is ideal for a smaller household. Pieces of round steak are coated in seasoned flour, browned, and then slowly simmered with canned stewed tomatoes. Sliced green pepper and onion are added partway through cooking, resulting in a tender, flavourful main course that requires minimal clean-up. The entire dish comes together in about 75 minutes, making it a straightforward and satisfying dinner option for two.
