Spicy Yogurt Chicken

Ingredients

  • 8 skinless chicken drumsticks
  • 142ml pot natural yogurt
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric

Method

  1. Using a sharp knife, create several slashes in each chicken drumstick. Combine the yogurt, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tbsp ground cumin, 1 tbsp ground coriander, and 2 tsp ground turmeric in a bowl and season. Add the drumsticks, ensuring the mixture is rubbed well into the meat. Cover and chill for 30 mins if time allows.
  2. Take the drumsticks from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Barbecue them for 20-25 mins, turning now and then, until they are cooked through.
