Spicy Garlic Ginger Tilapia With Kalamata Olives
This Greek-style tilapia is a fast and flavourful meal. The fish fillets are baked with a rich, spicy sauce made from melted butter, olive oil, pressed garlic, grated ginger, pitted Kalamata olives and their juice, plus red pepper flakes. It cooks in under 15 minutes, making it a perfect choice for a speedy yet impressive dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb tilapia fillet
- 1/8 cup butter
- 1 ounce olive oil
- 5 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 ounce gingerroot, grated
- 5 ounces kalamata olives, with juice (pitted)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Method
- Melt the butter in a bowl.
- Combine the olive oil, garlic, ginger, olives and red pepper flakes with the butter, then pour this mixture over the tilapia fillets.
- Bake the tilapia at 300°F for 9 to 11 minutes.
