Spicy Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup cubed, seeded watermelon
  • 1 mango, peeled and cubed
  • 1 green apple, cored and sliced
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey, or more to taste
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®)

Method

  1. Place the pineapple chunks, cubed watermelon, cubed mango and sliced green apple into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Put the lime juice, honey and chopped jalapeño pepper into a blender and process until the mixture is completely smooth.
  3. Pour the blended jalapeño dressing over the prepared fruit and toss everything together well. Finish by sprinkling the chilli-lime seasoning over the top. Place the salad in the refrigerator to chill thoroughly before serving, for 1 to 2 hours.
