They are made with coconut oil and peanut butter, then finished with toasted coconut. The recipe takes just 8 minutes to prepare before setting in the freezer, yielding 24 individual servings.

Spicy Chocolate Keto Fat Bombs

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup coconut oil
  • 2/3 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark cocoa
  • 4 (6 g) packets stevia (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (to taste)

Method

  1. Place the coconut oil, peanut butter and cocoa powder into a double boiler over simmering water. Whisk the ingredients together until they have melted into a smooth mixture.
  2. Stir in the stevia, ground cinnamon and kosher salt until everything is fully incorporated.
  3. Spoon the mixture into a silicone mini muffin tray. You can also use a standard mini muffin tin lined with paper cases.
  4. Sprinkle the toasted coconut flakes and cayenne pepper over each portion. Place the tray in the freezer to set until firm, which takes about 30 minutes.
