Spicy Cheese Straws
These crisp and spicy cheese straws are a classic savoury treat. Grated sharp cheddar is combined with butter, flour, and a blend of Cajun seasoning, pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder to create a flavourful dough. After chilling, the dough is piped into strips and baked until lightly golden. The result is a batch of irresistible, peppery straws perfect for serving with drinks or as a snack. This recipe yields approximately four dozen straws.
