Spicy Cajun Rub

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

Method

  1. Combine every ingredient in a small bowl.
  2. Apply 1 tbsp of the rub for each pound of beef or pork, or use 2 tsp per pound of fish or chicken.
  3. Keep the leftover mixture in a container with a tight seal.
