  1. Combine the chili powder and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  2. Place the prepared squash cubes into a large microwave safe bowl and pour the lemon mixture over them, tossing to coat thoroughly.
  3. Arrange the coated cubes around the sides of the bowl to promote even cooking.
  4. Cover the bowl and microwave on high (100%) for 14 minutes.
  5. Test for doneness by piercing a few cubes with a sharp knife tip or a toothpick. they should be tender.
