Spicy Buttermilk Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (3 1/2 lb) chicken, cut into 8 pcs and skin removed from all but the wings.

Method

  1. Mix the buttermilk, hot pepper sauce, paprika, and salt together in a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Put the chicken pieces into the bag and turn them over to cover with the marinade.
  3. Press the air out of the bag and seal it tightly.
  4. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning the bag once during this time.
  5. Get your barbecue or grill ready for cooking.
  6. Take the chicken out of the bag and dispose of the leftover marinade.
  7. Cook the chicken on the preheated grill, turning it now and then, until the juices are clear when you pierce the thickest part with a knife tip.
