Spicy Black Beans and Rice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, clove(s)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 15 ounces canned black beans
  • 14 1/2 ounces canned stewed tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice

Method
