  • 1/2 orange, with rind
  • 1/2 lemon, with rind
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch orange zest
  • 1 pinch lemon zest
  • 1 pinch cayenne
  • 4 drops stevia

Method

  1. Place the orange and lemon into a small saucepan with the water.
  2. Bring the contents to a boil, then lower the heat to maintain a simmer, topping up with water if necessary.
  3. Allow it to simmer until the fruit pulp separates from the rinds. Remove the pulp and discard the remaining rinds.
