This homemade version of the classic Shamrock Shake is a perfect festive drink or dessert. Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 0.25 teaspoon mint extract, or more to taste
  • 9 drops green food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon green decorator sugar, or to taste

Method

  1. Collect all the required components.
  2. Combine the 2 cups of vanilla ice cream, 1.25 cups of milk, 0.25 teaspoon of mint extract, and 9 drops of green food colouring in a blender and process until completely smooth.
  3. Swirl 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup inside two tall glasses, then divide the blended shake between them. Finish each with 2 tablespoons of whipped cream and a sprinkle of 0.5 teaspoon of green decorator sugar.
  4. Serve and enjoy immediately.
