Ingredients
- 30 peeled garlic cloves, ends cut off
- 2 cups kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 3 tablespoons good-quality chili powder
- 2 tablespoons white pepper
- 2 tablespoons celery seeds
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
Method
- With the food processor running and fitted with its metal blade, add the garlic cloves and process them until they are finely minced.
- Take a large measuring cup and mix together all of the other ingredients.
- Pour this dry mixture into the food processor with the garlic and pulse the machine until everything is fully combined.
- Use a spatula to scrape down the inside walls of the processor bowl, then pulse the mixture once more.
- Spoon the finished seasoning into an airtight container that has a shaker lid.
- Store the container in the refrigerator.
- The seasoning salt will remain good for 3 months when kept refrigerated.
