Savory Lavender Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 medium pork chops or 1 medium pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons marjoram
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons lavender flowers
  • salt & pepper

Method

  1. Place the pork chops into a 13x9 inch baking dish.
  2. Generously season the top side with lavender flowers, ground rosemary, marjoram, salt and pepper.
  3. Drizzle a little honey over the seasoned pork.
  4. Turn the pork over and apply the same seasoning blend to the other side.
  5. Scatter a small quantity of brown sugar over the pork before it goes into the oven.
  6. Bake at 35o degrees for about 30-45 minutes, depending on how thick the pork is.
