Salmon With Chili-honey Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 lbs salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • lime wedge

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Arrange the salmon fillets on a baking tray lined with foil.
  3. Mix the orange juice, lime juice, honey, ground cumin, chili powder, and hot pepper sauce together until the honey is fully incorporated.
  4. Drizzle roughly half of this glaze over the salmon, season with salt and fresh ground black pepper, and bake for 12 minutes per inch of thickness.
  5. After half the baking time has passed, pour the rest of the glaze over the fish.
  6. Take the salmon out of the oven once it is fully cooked.
  7. Transfer the salmon to plates, spoon the reduced glaze from the pan on top, and accompany with lime wedges.
