Rum Cow
This classic cocktail, suggested in Trader Vic's Book of Food and Drink, is a traditional remedy for the morning after. It combines Puerto Rican rum with milk, sugar, and aromatic dashes of vanilla, nutmeg and Angostura bitters. Ingredients
- 1 1/2 fluid ounces puerto rican rum
- 2 drops vanilla
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons sugar
Method
- Combine all the listed ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake the mixture well and strain it into a 10 ounce glass.
