Red Snapper With Garlic Delight
This Asian-inspired dish features red snapper steaks broiled with a flavourful garlic butter. The sauce is made by sautéing minced garlic in butter, then deglazing with dry vermouth. The fish is brushed with this seasoned butter and cooked under a broiler until perfectly opaque. It's a simple yet elegant preparation that results in a delicious main course, ready to serve with the remaining butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 10 g unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dry vermouth
- 2 red snapper steaks
Method
- Combine the minced garlic with the melted butter.
- Cook the garlic butter mixture until it becomes a golden colour.
- Pour the dry vermouth into the pan.
- Add black pepper according to your preference.
- Preheat your kitchen broiler.
- Place the snapper steaks onto a broiler pan.
- Coat the fish with the prepared garlic butter.
- Broil the fish 10 cm from the heat for 10-15 minutes until opaque.
- Accompany the cooked fish with the leftover seasoned butter.
- Serve immediately.
