Quick Brazilian Lemonade
This quick Brazilian lemonade offers a creamy, tropical alternative to the traditional version. It blends fresh limes with sugar and cream of coconut for a uniquely refreshing drink. The whole limes are pulsed into the mixture, lending a distinctive flavour. Ready in just 10 minutes, it serves six people as a perfect chilled treat.
Ingredients
- 6 cups cold water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 limes
- 6 tablespoons cream of coconut
Method
- Stir the sugar into the cold water in a bowl until it has fully dissolved, then place it in the refrigerator to chill.
- Trim the ends from all 4 limes, then slice each one into 8 segments.
- Working in batches, add the chilled sugar water and lime segments to a blender and pulse several times. Strain the blended mixture into a pitcher.
- Add the 6 tablespoons of cream of coconut to the pitcher and stir thoroughly until combined. Serve the drink straight away.
