Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (15 ounce) can solid-pack pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Method

  1. Cook the finely chopped onion in butter within a large saucepan until it softens.
