Puff Pastry Salmon
This American dinner dish combines flaky puff pastry with seasoned salmon fillets. A layer of fresh spinach and pesto adds flavour before the parcels are baked until golden. Ingredients
- 2 (12 ounce) skinless, boneless salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- seasoned salt to taste
- 1 (6 ounce) package spinach leaves
- 1 (17.25 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 0.33333334326744 cup pesto
Method
- Set your oven to heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Apply onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt to the salmon fillets.
- On two sheets of puff pastry, arrange half the spinach in a central pile. Position a salmon fillet over each spinach mound. Cover each fillet with pesto, then finish with the rest of the spinach.
- Dampen the pastry edges with water, then bring them together over the filling and press to close.
