Pizza Pinwheels
These irresistible pinwheels are a fun twist on pizza night. Using convenient crescent roll dough as a base, they are filled with classic mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices, then baked until golden. Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 24 slices pepperoni
- 1 (14 ounce) can pizza sauce
Method
- Set your oven to heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Place the 8 triangles of crescent dough on a baking sheet and press them together to form 4 rectangles. Top each rectangle with 6 pepperoni slices and a portion of the mozzarella cheese. Roll each one up lengthwise into a tight log, then cut every log into 4 or more pieces.
- Place in the heated oven and bake for about 12 minutes, or until they turn a golden brown colour. Offer the pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
