This simple Italian pull-apart bread is a speedy option for entertaining. Pieces of refrigerated dinner roll dough are coated in a mixture of freshly grated parmesan cheese, melted butter, pressed garlic and coarsely ground black pepper. They are then arranged in a Bundt pan and baked until golden brown. After a brief cooling period, the loaf is inverted and served warm. It yields 16 servings and is ready in about 40 minutes.

Parmesan Pepper Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 4 ounces parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 2 (11 1/3 ounce) packages refrigerated dinner rolls

Method

  1. Heat your oven to 375.
  2. Lightly coat a tube or Bundt pan with cooking oil spray.
  3. Mix together the freshly grated parmesan, melted butter, pressed garlic and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Take the dinner rolls from their packaging and separate them, then cut every roll into four pieces.
  5. Coat each piece of dough thoroughly in the prepared cheese mixture.
  6. Arrange all the coated dough pieces inside the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 27-30 minutes until the bread has a golden brown colour.
  8. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
  9. Turn the pan over onto a cooling rack to release the bread and let it cool a little more.
  10. Enjoy the bread while it is still warm.
