Parmesan Pepper Pull-Apart Bread
This simple Italian pull-apart bread is a speedy option for entertaining. Pieces of refrigerated dinner roll dough are coated in a mixture of freshly grated parmesan cheese, melted butter, pressed garlic and coarsely ground black pepper. They are then arranged in a Bundt pan and baked until golden brown. After a brief cooling period, the loaf is inverted and served warm. It yields 16 servings and is ready in about 40 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 4 ounces parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 teaspoons black pepper, coarsely ground
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 2 (11 1/3 ounce) packages refrigerated dinner rolls
Method
- Heat your oven to 375.
- Lightly coat a tube or Bundt pan with cooking oil spray.
- Mix together the freshly grated parmesan, melted butter, pressed garlic and black pepper in a bowl.
- Take the dinner rolls from their packaging and separate them, then cut every roll into four pieces.
- Coat each piece of dough thoroughly in the prepared cheese mixture.
- Arrange all the coated dough pieces inside the prepared pan.
- Bake for 27-30 minutes until the bread has a golden brown colour.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Turn the pan over onto a cooling rack to release the bread and let it cool a little more.
- Enjoy the bread while it is still warm.
