Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) bag Oreo cookies, rolled into crumbs
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 (3 ounce) package instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip
Method
- Combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter and separate the mixture into two equal portions.
- Press one portion of the crumb mixture firmly into the base of an 8x11 inch pan.
- Set aside the remaining portion of crumbs for later use.
- Prepare the instant pistachio pudding mix by whisking it with 1 1/2 cups of milk as directed on the package.
- In a separate bowl, blend the prepared pudding with the softened vanilla ice cream and the container of Cool Whip, then spread this mixture over the crumb base.
- Evenly scatter the reserved cookie crumbs over the top layer.
