Mountain Dew Apple Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 2 granny smith apples (peel & cut into 8 sections each)
  • 2 cans crescent rolls (1 can for each apple)
  • 1 cup real butter (not margarine)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Mountain Dew soda

Method

  1. Encase every apple section in a piece of crescent roll dough.
  2. Arrange the wrapped pieces in a baking dish that has been lightly greased.
  3. Combine the melted butter with the sugar, then pour this mixture over the apples.
  4. Drizzle the Mountain Dew soda evenly over the top.
  5. Do not mix the ingredients together.
  6. Scatter a dusting of cinnamon and some chopped nuts over the surface.
  7. Bake without a cover at 350 degrees for around 45 minutes.
