Ingredients
- 4 cups white sugar
- 0.5 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon imitation maple flavor
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- Combine the white sugar, light brown sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil, then lower the heat to medium.
- Cover the pan and allow the syrup to simmer for 8 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the imitation maple flavour and vanilla extract.
- Let the syrup cool down fully before transferring it to glass jars.
