Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package Oreo cookies
- 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding
- 3 cups milk
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed
Method
- Use a blender or food processor to crush the Oreo cookies completely.
- Transfer half of the crushed cookie mixture to cover the base of a 9x13 inch pan.
- Combine the instant vanilla pudding mix with the 3 cups of milk, stirring well.
- Place the pudding mixture in the refrigerator to chill and set fully.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter, and 1 cup powdered sugar together until the mixture is completely smooth.
- Gently fold the set pudding and the thawed Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture.
- Evenly spread this creamy filling over the layer of cookie crumbs in the pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining half of the crushed cookies over the top of the filling.
