Guava Mojito
This cocktail offers a tropical variation on the traditional mojito. Passion fruit rum and unsweetened guava nectar combine with fresh mint, lime juice and a touch of sugar. The drink is shaken and strained over ice before being topped with club soda. It's a refreshing and flavourful beverage perfect for warm weather.
Ingredients
- ice
- 4 sprigs fresh mint, divided
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 3 fluid ounces passion fruit-flavored rum
- 1 lime, juiced
- 3 fluid ounces unsweetened guava nectar
- 2 fluid ounces club soda, or as needed
Method
- Fill a glass with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 3 sprigs of mint with the sugar and muddle them. Add ice, the passion fruit rum, lime juice and guava nectar. Cover the shaker and shake it 10 times. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Top up with 2 fluid ounces of club soda and garnish with the remaining mint sprig.
