Fudge

Ingredients

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Method

  1. Assemble your ingredients.
  2. Place the chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter pieces into a large bowl suitable for the microwave. Heat on medium until the chocolate has melted, which will take 3 to 5 minutes, giving it a stir once or twice as it cooks.
  3. While that heats, take an 8-inch square glass dish and grease it thoroughly.
  4. Take the bowl from the microwave and mix in the chopped walnuts. Transfer the mixture into your greased dish.
  5. Place the dish in the refrigerator and leave it to firm up for about 2 hours.
  6. Slice the set fudge into 16 squares.
