  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped black walnuts

Sift the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt together, then stir these dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until fully incorporated. Finally, mix in the chopped black walnuts. 2. Heat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. Cut the chilled dough logs into slices 1/2 inch thick and arrange them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
