Exercise Shake
This British snack is a quick and nutritious smoothie, ideal for a post-exercise boost. It combines pomegranate juice and soya milk with banana, tofu, and a touch of honey for natural sweetness. Blended with ice and finished with flaked almonds, it's a refreshing and balanced drink prepared in only 5 minutes for one serving.
Ingredients
- 150ml pomegranate juice
- 125ml soya milk
- 1 large banana peeled and cut into chunks
- 30g tofu
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp flaked almond
- ice cubes
Method
- Place the pomegranate juice and soya milk into a blender along with 2 ice cubes. Process until the ice is fully crushed.
- Introduce the banana chunks, tofu and honey to the blender. Blend the mixture until completely smooth. Transfer the shake to a cold glass and top with the flaked almonds.
