Eggnog
This light and fluffy eggnog is a delightful drink suitable for any gathering, not just festive holidays. Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 3 1/4 cups icing sugar (confectioner's)

- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup vanilla
- 10 cups milk
- rye meal (optional) or scotch, to taste (optional)

Method
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until they become very light and achieve a lemon-like colour.
- Slowly incorporate the icing sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla while continuing to beat.
- Pour in the 10 cups of milk and stir everything together, transferring to a bigger container if needed.
- If using, mix in your chosen rye or scotch liquor according to your taste.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator and allow it to chill for 24 hours prior to serving.
- When ready to serve, blend the eggnog to create a foamy consistency.
- Any leftovers can be kept covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- You can adjust the drink's strength by altering the amount of liquor or milk added.
- Finish by sprinkling nutmeg over the top and presenting it in an attractive glass.
