Easy Sausage & Provolone Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 cup hungry jack buttermilk complete pancake & waffle mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 8 ounces shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F.
  2. Take a 15x10x1 inch baking pan and line it with foil.
  3. Lightly coat the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
  4. Place the sausage, pancake mix, and basil into a food processor fitted with a metal blade.
  5. Process the mixture until it just comes together.
  6. Add the shredded provolone cheese and chopped green onions to the processor.
  7. Use brief on and off pulses to incorporate the cheese and onions.
  8. Form the mixture into balls roughly 1 inch in size.
  9. Arrange the shaped balls on the prepared foil-lined pan.
  10. Bake the balls at 375 F for 10 to 15 minutes.
