Ingredients

  • 175g piece chorizo sliced
  • 350g sliced new potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed 1 seeded
  • sliced fresh red chilli
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 400g can chopped tomatoes

Method

  1. Slice the chorizo and cook it in a large frying pan without oil for a minute.
  2. Add the sliced new potatoes to the pan and fry them for 5 minutes until they turn golden.
  3. Next, stir in the cumin seeds, the seeded and sliced red chilli, and the chopped garlic clove, cooking for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the can of chopped tomatoes and allow the mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes until the potatoes become tender.
