Jalapeño Popper Dip
This warm and creamy dip captures the classic flavours of jalapeño poppers in an easy, shareable format. It combines softened cream cheese with mayonnaise, canned green chiles and diced jalapeño peppers for a gentle heat. Topped with Parmesan and quickly heated, it becomes a perfect party appetiser. The recipe yields about 4 cups, ideal for serving a crowd.
Ingredients
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
- 2 ounces canned diced jalapeno peppers, drained
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Assemble all the required ingredients.
- In a large bowl, blend the cream cheese and mayonnaise until the mixture is smooth. Mix in the drained green chiles and jalapeño peppers, then spoon the dip into a dish suitable for the microwave.
- Evenly scatter the Parmesan cheese over the top. Heat in the microwave on High until thoroughly hot, about 3 minutes.
