This straightforward Mexican dip combines mashed ripe avocados with chopped tomato and onion. Flavoured with garlic, salt, and fresh lime juice, the mixture is chilled to allow the flavours to meld. Easy Guacamole Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 -3 ripe avocados, mashed
  • 1 ripe roma tomatoes or 1 plum tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Method

  1. Remove the skin from the avocados and mash them in a bowl with a flat base.
  2. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, finely chopped onions, and the lime juice.
  3. Put the garlic on your cutting board, sprinkle with the kosher salt, and mash them into a paste using a spoon before adding to the bowl.
  4. Combine everything thoroughly, then cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Enjoy this guacamole with Tortilla chips or alongside Fajitas.
