Easy Egg Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup uncooked instant rice
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 0.5 onion, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup green beans
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper

Method

  1. Assemble all the required ingredients.
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and 0.5 teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup uncooked instant rice, stir, and take off the heat. Cover the pan and leave it to stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Warm 1 teaspoon vegetable oil in a medium skillet or wok. Cook 0.5 finely chopped onion and 0.5 cup green beans in the hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes.
