Delicious Angel Hair Pasta
This single-serving angel hair pasta dish is a speedy dinner option, ready in just 20 minutes. Ingredients
- 0.25 (8 ounce) package angel hair pasta
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimentos
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, divided
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
- 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.25 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Place a pot of lightly salted water on to boil. Once it reaches a rolling boil, add the angel hair pasta and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until it is tender but still firm. Drain the cooked pasta.
- Warm the olive oil in a skillet. To the oil, add the pimentos, lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, 1 tablespoon of parsley, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring to combine. Cook until the herbs become fragrant. Mix in the Parmesan cheese. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is well coated. Finish by seasoning with salt and pepper, garnishing with the remaining parsley, and serving immediately.
