Creamy Summer Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sour cream
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 1 pound cabbage, cut into wedges
  • 2 carrots
  • 0.25 small onion, chopped, or to taste

Method

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, lemon juice, vinegar, sour cream, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Set this dressing aside.
  2. Using a food processor with the grater attachment, shred the cabbage, carrots, and onion. Transfer the shredded vegetables to a large bowl and mix them together. Pour the prepared dressing over the cabbage mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
  3. Cover the large bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours to overnight. Give the coleslaw a final stir just before you serve it.
